Collection: Black and White Wall Art

Frequently asked questions

Were the black and white pictures shot in black and white?

No. I took them in colour and converted them to black and white afterwards, so that light, shadow and lines carry the picture.

Which black and white photos can I choose from?

City Prism, Horizon Peak, Step Up, Underground Rush and Up & Around, the Wiener Riesenrad in Vienna at night. Each one comes as a canvas print, a wooden framed print and a digital download.

Are these real photographs or AI images?

Real photographs. Each one is an original photo I took on location with a real camera, not a stock image, an illustration or AI-generated art.

Which frame colour suits a black and white print?

A black frame suits black and white photos especially well. If you prefer a softer look, natural wood brings some warmth to the room.

Which size works in a living room?

Every print comes in 30x45 cm (12x18"), 45x60 cm (18x24") and 60x90 cm (24x36"). The 60x90 cm size suits a living room wall above a sofa, 45x60 cm fits a bedroom or hallway, and 30x45 cm is right for a shelf or a small wall.

How much do they cost?

Canvas prints start at €69.99, wooden framed prints at €96.99 and digital downloads cost €9.99.

Do the black and white architecture photos come framed?

Yes. All five black and white motifs, City Prism, Horizon Peak, Step Up, Underground Rush and Up & Around, come as wooden framed prints behind shatterproof plexiglass, ready to hang, as well as canvas prints and digital downloads.

Which black and white print works in an office?

City Prism or Horizon Peak above a desk. The clean lines of the skyscrapers look calm and professional, and in black and white they never compete with the colours of the room. Step Up and Underground Rush bring a little more movement. A canvas print has no glass, so it does not reflect the window or the screen, and one 60x90 cm print behind the desk is enough.
